Medical Disclaimer
Read this carefully before using mybmi.ai.
mybmi.ai is operated by Arrays Global LLC. The Service includes the BMI calculator, Sisu (our AI wellness coach), eligibility screenings, treatment information across nine wellness categories, and routing to licensed US telehealth providers. This disclaimer covers every element of that scope.
1. Not a Substitute for Medical Advice
The content provided on mybmi.ai — including the BMI calculator, Sisu coaching conversations, eligibility quizzes, vertical landing pages, articles, and any other content — is for educational and informational purposes only.
It is not:
- Medical advice
- A medical diagnosis
- A treatment plan
- A prescription
- A clinical recommendation
- An endorsement of any medication, supplement, peptide, or therapy
- A guarantee that any healthcare provider will prescribe or recommend any specific treatment
- A guarantee of any specific outcome — weight loss, hair regrowth, improved energy, better sleep, mood improvement, or otherwise
Always seek the advice of a qualified, licensed healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding your health, a medical condition, medications, or treatment options. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on mybmi.ai or anything Sisu has said in coaching.
2. Sisu Is a Wellness Coach, Not a Clinician
Sisu is an AI wellness coach. Specifically, Sisu is not:
- Not a doctor — Sisu does not diagnose conditions. Diagnosis requires lab work and clinical evaluation by a licensed provider.
- Not a therapist or psychiatrist — Sisu provides general stress, burnout, and mood coaching only. For depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance use, trauma, or any clinical mental health condition, work with a licensed mental health professional.
- Not a pharmacy — Sisu does not prescribe, dispense, or recommend specific medications. When a prescription is part of the right answer, Sisu routes you to a US-licensed telehealth provider who handles all prescribing independently.
- Not a registered dietitian — Sisu coaches general nutrition principles. For clinical nutrition needs (e.g., kidney disease, IBD, eating disorder recovery), work with a registered dietitian.
3. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of the Service does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Arrays Global LLC or any of our employees, contractors, affiliates, or AI systems. We are not licensed medical providers.
If you decide to pursue any of the treatment categories Sisu discusses — GLP-1 medications, hair loss treatments, longevity peptides, sexual wellness medications, dermatology prescriptions, hormonal contraception, or others — you should consult directly with a licensed healthcare provider who can:
- Review your complete medical history
- Perform any necessary physical examinations
- Review your current medications for interactions
- Discuss the full risk-benefit profile of any treatment
- Order necessary lab work and follow-up
4. BMI Limitations
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a screening calculation. It is not a perfect measure of body fat or health. BMI can be:
- Misleading for highly muscular individuals — athletes may register as overweight or obese by BMI despite low body fat
- Misleading for older adults — muscle mass decreases with age while BMI may remain stable
- Inaccurate at population extremes — very short or very tall individuals may register inaccurate BMI
- Of limited use for body composition — BMI does not distinguish fat from muscle from bone density
BMI is a useful starting screen — particularly for medication eligibility, which is typically based on BMI thresholds — but it is not a complete health assessment.
5. Eligibility Screening Limitations
Our eligibility screenings reflect general clinical thresholds commonly used by prescribers in each category (e.g., BMI ≥30 or ≥27 with comorbidity for GLP-1; specific scalp patterns for hair loss; age and risk-factor screens for sexual wellness). Individual provider criteria may vary, and clinical judgment ultimately rests with the prescribing provider.
Meeting a screening threshold does not mean you will be approved by a partner provider. Each provider conducts independent medical evaluation.
6. Treatment Risks
Every treatment Sisu discusses carries potential risks and side effects:
- GLP-1 medications can cause GI side effects, gallbladder issues, and have rare serious adverse events (pancreatitis, thyroid considerations).
- Finasteride and dutasteride have documented sexual side effects in some users (~1–3% in trials, debated in real-world data).
- Compounded medications in any category can vary in quality between pharmacies; safety depends on the compounding source.
- Peptides and longevity therapies (NAD+, sermorelin, glutathione) do not have decades of safety data the way standard drugs do.
- Hormonal medications (birth control, perimenopause therapy, spironolactone) carry their own risk profiles.
- PDE5 inhibitors for sexual wellness interact dangerously with nitrates and require cardiovascular screening.
Discuss all risks with your prescribing provider before starting any treatment. Sisu can help you prepare for these conversations — Sisu cannot replace them.
7. Mental Health & Crisis
Sisu provides general stress, burnout, and mood coaching only. Sisu is not a crisis service.
If you are in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts:
- Call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) — available 24/7
- Call 911 for immediate emergency support
- Go to the nearest emergency room
- Text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line)
For non-emergency mental health support, work with a licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Sisu does not affiliate-route to online therapy platforms — referrals in this category are individualized rather than commercial.
8. Pregnancy & Pediatric Care
mybmi.ai is for adults 18 and older. We do not serve minors. Pediatric prescribing requires direct evaluation by pediatric specialists.
We do not provide pregnancy care. If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding, work with your OB-GYN or family physician. Several treatments Sisu discusses (finasteride, GLP-1, isotretinoin, others) are contraindicated in pregnancy.
9. Drug Interactions
Sisu does not maintain a complete drug interaction database. Before starting any treatment routed through our affiliate partners or any treatment Sisu discusses educationally, disclose your complete medication list (including supplements) to your prescribing provider.
10. Geographic Scope
Our affiliate partner network is currently US-licensed only. Treatment access, regulatory requirements, and drug availability vary outside the US. International users may use Sisu's educational and coaching content but should consult local providers for any treatment decisions.
11. Wearable & Self-Reported Data
If you connect a wearable device (Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit) or input self-reported data, Sisu uses this for coaching context. Wearable measurements are estimates, not medical-grade readings, and Sisu's coaching reflects this limitation.
12. Changes & Updates
We may update this Medical Disclaimer as our service evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on the Service.
