Affiliate Disclosure
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 (Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising), we want to be transparent about how mybmi.ai earns revenue across our nine wellness categories and how that relates to the recommendations Sisu makes.
1. The Short Version
mybmi.ai is a free educational and wellness coaching platform. The BMI calculator and core Sisu coaching are free forever. When Sisu routes you to a US-licensed telehealth provider for a prescription (such as GLP-1 for weight management, finasteride for hair loss, vardenafil for sexual wellness, or NAD+ for longevity) and you complete a qualifying action, we may receive a commission from that provider.
You pay nothing extra. The commission is paid by the provider out of their marketing budget. Our recommendations are based on your eligibility profile, the partner's licensing in your state, and provider quality — not on which partner pays us the most.
2. Our Partner Network
We currently maintain affiliate relationships with telehealth and pharmacy providers across the following wellness categories:
- Weight management — semaglutide, tirzepatide, compounded GLP-1, non-GLP-1 alternatives
- Hair & scalp — finasteride, dutasteride, minoxidil, GHK-Cu peptide
- Longevity & energy — NAD+, sermorelin, glutathione, MIC+B12, methylene blue
- Sexual wellness — vardenafil, sildenafil, tadalafil
- Women's health — hormonal contraception, spironolactone, metformin (off-label PCOS), GLP-1 for PCOS, perimenopause therapy
- Metabolic health — GLP-1 for type 2 diabetes, lifestyle protocols
- Skin & dermatology — tretinoin, hydroquinone, topical antibiotics, azelaic acid
Our active partners as of the date of this disclosure include (but are not limited to): Yucca Health, Eden Health, and Strut Health. Additional partners are added or removed periodically as we evaluate quality and licensing scope.
Two categories have no affiliate routing: Sleep & recovery, and Mental wellness. These are coaching-only verticals where prescription routing would be inappropriate — we refer to clinicians directly when needed, without commercial incentive.
3. Networks & Direct Relationships
Some partners we work with directly. Others we access through licensed affiliate networks including Katalys/RevOffers, which aggregates multiple healthcare advertisers. The disclosure of material connection applies whether the relationship is direct or via network.
4. How Tracking Works
When you click a partner link on our Service:
- We generate an anonymous tracking identifier (a randomly created UUID) just for that click.
- You are redirected to the partner — either directly or through our affiliate network's tracker.
- The partner records the click with the anonymous identifier.
- If you sign up or complete a qualifying action on the partner's site, the partner credits us with a referral and pays us a commission.
We do not transmit your name, email, BMI, weight, age, health conditions, or anything Sisu has coached you on to partners. Once you reach the partner's site, anything you share with them is governed by their privacy policy.
5. Commission Structure
Most of our partners pay us a fixed commission per acquired customer (Cost Per Acquisition, or CPA). Commissions vary by category and partner but typically range from $125 to $500 per qualifying signup. A small number of partners offer recurring monthly commissions or per-treatment payouts.
Even with commissions, our incentives align with yours: we only get paid when you find a service useful enough to enroll. If Sisu routed you to poor providers, conversions would drop and so would our revenue. The system has a feedback loop.
6. Editorial Independence
We make the following commitments to maintain editorial integrity:
- Eligibility logic follows clinical thresholds (FDA-approved indications and standard clinical guidelines), not commission size. A user with BMI 24 sees "you don't qualify for GLP-1" whether they would have generated $0 or $500 in commission.
- Partner ordering is by user-fit, not payout. We rank partners by a combination of clinical fit (state licensing, BMI compatibility, condition compatibility), partner reputation, and payout. Payout is a factor — we are honest about that — but never the only factor.
- Sisu coaching content is independent. What Sisu suggests in coaching is not influenced by which partner pays more. Coaching is informed by clinical evidence and your data, not by sponsorship.
- We do not write fake reviews. Any testimonials or ratings on our site are based on real third-party review aggregators or our own use of the service.
- We do not hide that we are affiliated. The fact of affiliation is disclosed inline on every page where affiliate links appear.
- We will tell you when a partner is removed. If we drop a partner for quality reasons, we will not pretend we still recommend them.
- Coaching-only verticals stay coaching-only. Sleep and Mental Wellness will not become affiliate-routed even if a high-payout partner is available — these categories carry too much risk for commercial routing.
7. What "Recommendation" Means
When Sisu shows a provider on a routing page, the underlying statement is: "This provider is licensed to offer this category of service in your state and meets our minimum quality standards."
We are not saying:
- That this is the best provider for you (only you and a clinician can determine that)
- That you will be approved for medication if you sign up
- That the medication will be effective for you
- That the cost will be a specific amount (pricing varies and may change)
- That Sisu's coaching guarantees the outcome you're hoping for
We strongly encourage you to review each partner's services, pricing, terms, and provider credentials before signing up. Compare options. Ask questions.
8. Other Revenue Sources
In addition to affiliate commissions, mybmi.ai may generate revenue from:
- Pro and Premium subscriptions ($9.99/mo and $19.99/mo respectively) — clear pricing, no hidden upgrades
- Founder Lifetime plans — one-time $199 for lifetime Pro access, limited to the first 100 customers
- Enterprise & insurance contracts — direct B2B agreements for white-label and population deployments
- Direct advertising or sponsorships — clearly labeled as such where they appear (none currently)
- Aggregate anonymous analytics — we may share anonymized, aggregated trend data with research partners or media (never individual user data)
We will update this disclosure as our revenue sources evolve.
9. FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with Section 5 of the FTC Act and the FTC's Endorsement Guides. Material connections between mybmi.ai and the third parties we recommend are disclosed clearly and conspicuously, both on this dedicated page and through brief notices adjacent to affiliate links throughout the Service.
10. Your Choices
You are never required to click an affiliate link. You can use mybmi.ai's BMI calculator, Sisu coaching, eligibility checks, and educational content for free without ever clicking through to a partner. You can also find providers independently through resources like the American Telemedicine Association, your insurance provider's directory, or your primary care doctor.
Our goal is to be useful enough that you choose us anyway — not to push anyone into a transaction.
